The ASEAN Data Science Explorers (ASEANDSE) programme equips youth across Southeast Asia with digital and data skills to solve real-world challenges. Supported by SAP, the programme combines training, mentorship, and competition elements to help participants turn data-driven ideas into impactful solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
It’s ideal for students and young professionals who want to build practical skills while creating meaningful change in their communities.
Eligibility:
• Open to youth from ASEAN countries (including Brunei)
• Typically aged 18–30 years old
• Students or young professionals with an interest in data, tech, or social impact
• Basic knowledge of data analytics is helpful but not always required
Description:
ASEANDSE offers a series of workshops, training sessions, and mentorship opportunities focused on data analytics and digital tools. Participants learn how to use platforms like SAP Analytics Cloud to analyse data and develop solutions addressing social and environmental issues.
The programme often culminates in a regional competition, where teams present their projects and compete for recognition and prizes.
