Deadline: 7th October 2026 | Young creatives can turn their response to the ecological crisis into an internationally recognised project and compete for major cash prizes.

The Earth Partner Prize is a global youth arts competition for creatives aged 14 to 30 who want to explore climate and environmental issues through artistic work. The 2026 edition is organised in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility and Re:wild, and is free to enter.

Eligibility:

  • Open to applicants of all nationalities.
  • Applicants must be aged 14 to 30 as of 7th October 2026.
  • Individuals, duos and teams may apply.
  • Applicants may submit work in any creative medium.
  • Previous applicants may enter again, including with previously submitted work, provided it has not previously won a prize or honourable mention.
  • Entry is free.

Description:

Applicants are invited to submit creative work responding to the ecological crisis. Eligible formats include photography, documentary and experimental film, performance art, spoken word, music, dance, fashion design, new media, app development and social media projects.

Projects may explore themes such as climate justice, wildlife and ecosystem conservation, Indigenous rights, grassroots activism, regeneration, greenwashing, material innovation and the social and personal impacts of the climate crisis.

Applicants can upload up to 10 images or videos and must also provide a project description, short biography and written reflection on their experience as a young person living through the ecological crisis. Individual video files must be no longer than five minutes.

Benefits:

  • Eight finalists will receive cash prizes of $10,000, $5,000 or $2,000.
  • An additional 20 creatives will receive honourable mentions.
  • Work will be reviewed by an international panel of artists, conservationists and creative-industry leaders.
  • Opportunity for international visibility through the Earth Partner platform and its partners.
