SEALNet is now accepting project abstract submissions for its 2026 Summer Project Cycle. This is a chance for youth leaders to co-design and lead a community-based project focused on service and leadership in Southeast Asia. Eligibility:

Applicants must apply in pairs (2 co-leaders).

At least one co-leader must:
• Be from the country where the project will take place.
• Speak the local language fluently. -
At least one co-leader must have participated in a SEALNet Project or Youth Leadership Summit (YLS).

Team members should reflect the Southeast Asian region’s diversity.

Projects must take place in Southeast Asia.
Description:
Project leaders will design and implement a 2-week (on-ground) or 6-week (virtual/hybrid) project during summer 2026 (between June and August). You’ll plan the program, build a team, partner with local organisations, fundraise, and manage the project. Topics can range from mental health and education to digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and more—especially those tied to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The journey includes writing a 1–2 page project abstract, submitting a full proposal if shortlisted, and presenting in front of a selection panel. Selected project leaders must also attend SEALNet’s in-person Leadership Retreat in January 2026.

How to Apply:

Form a team with a co-leader and begin drafting your abstract.

Submit your 1–2 page abstract by 11th September 2025. This includes your project topic, goals, location, sustainability plan, and team bios.

If selected, submit a full proposal between 18th Sept – 9th Oct 2025.

Shortlisted teams will join a pitching and interview panel in November.

Final results announced: 25th November 2025.
