Overview
The Akademie Schloss Solitude Fellowship 2026‑2028 offers a unique environment in Stuttgart for artists, researchers, and cultural professionals to develop their work in a transdisciplinary setting. It’s designed for motivated individuals from any country, including Brunei, who are ready to dive into immersive creative or research‑driven projects.

Eligibility:
• Open to creators, scholars and cultural practitioners (artists, scientists, writers, designers, social researchers, etc.)
• Must have completed any formal studies (students currently enrolled in undergraduate programmes are normally not eligible)
• Fluency in English, German or French required
• Applicants must commit to residing in Stuttgart for the duration of the fellowship

Description:
Fellowships run for 6–12 months (often part of the broader 2026‑2028 cohort period). Residents receive a furnished studio/living/work space in the historic grounds and become part of an international community exploring new modes of creative research and production. The programme supports individual work while enabling cross‑disciplinary exchange and public visibility.
