The STREETS Global Awards recognise organisations using hospitality and tourism to support communities, promote sustainability and create opportunities for young people. Eligible organisations can compete for awards worth up to USD 10,000 while receiving guidance to strengthen their impact story.
Eligibility:
• Open to legally recognised organisations worldwide
• Eligible applicants include social enterprises, mission-driven businesses, non-profits and NGOs
• Organisations must work within the hospitality or tourism sector
• Initiatives should be emerging or early-stage, operating for up to five years
• Applicants must demonstrate measurable social impact and sustainability
• Applications and supporting documents must be submitted in English
• Individuals are not eligible to apply
Description:
Applicants can enter one of three award categories covering emerging hospitality and tourism initiatives, social enterprises, and youth development in tourism.
Applications will be assessed based on social impact, leadership and governance, programmes, community engagement, communications, and financial sustainability. The application process also includes mentoring to help organisations strengthen their storytelling, clarify their impact and present their financial information.
