A Transformative Experience
Every year, the Global Leadership Challenge convenes 100 young leaders from over 50 countries to advance leadership that makes a difference in the world. Working with experienced experts in their fields, they co-create impact projects for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Last December, GLC 2022 featured over 20 speakers and senior advisors, including, including Luis Guillermo Solís, the former President of Costa Rica, Justine Sass, Chief of UNESCO’s Section of Education for Inclusion and Gender Equality, and Arunma Oteh, former Vice President and Treasurer of the World Bank.
Vision
“GLC aims to empower emerging leaders to grow in the wisdom and character required for leadership that makes a difference in the world. This year, we will focus on the theme of “Confronting Scarcity”
“How can we tackle the multidimensional phenomena of shrinking workforces, higher costs of capital, trade disruptions and depleted natural resources in a sustainable way?”
Impact
GLC convenes global young talents and responsible leaders to champion a new approach to leadership and co-create action projects contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Throughout the five-day challenge, participants engage in character education, cross-generational dialogues, and develop a wide range of action projects with impact for their communities around the world.
