The Nature Awards: Inspiring Women in Science 2026 recognises outstanding individuals and organisations working to promote gender equity and inspire women and girls in science. The awards highlight those who are making meaningful contributions to scientific research, leadership, and outreach.
Organised by Nature, this global award celebrates efforts that encourage more women and girls to pursue careers in science and supports initiatives that create inclusive opportunities in STEM fields.
Eligibility:
• Open to individuals and organisations worldwide
• Two award categories: Scientific Achievement and Science Outreach
• The Scientific Achievement category is open to early-career women researchers
• The Science Outreach category is open to individuals or organisations supporting girls and women in STEM

Winners are selected for their impact in advancing scientific knowledge or creating meaningful programmes that inspire future generations of women in science.
