The Australia Awards Scholarships offer outstanding individuals from developing countries the chance to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate study in Australia. The goal is to develop future leaders who will contribute to the growth and prosperity of their home countries.
Eligibility:
• Open to citizens of Brunei and other eligible countries across ASEAN, the Pacific, South Asia, and Africa
• Must meet academic requirements and course entry criteria at Australian institutions
• Priority given to fields aligned with each country’s development needs
Description:
This is a fully funded scholarship for full-time study at participating Australian universities or TAFEs. Applicants must outline how their chosen field of study will contribute to their country’s development. The process includes a written application, possible aptitude testing, and an interview for shortlisted candidates.
Each country has its own application window and process, but for Brunei, applications are open from 27 May to 6 July 2025. Other countries may have different dates.
