The ASEAN Energy Youth Awards (AEYA) 2025 is now open for submissions from young people across the region. This year’s theme—“Powering ASEAN’s Future”—calls for creative solutions in hydropower and renewable energy. Finalists will present their work at the Sustainability & Renewable Energy Forum (SAREF 4.0) in Kuching, Malaysia.
Eligibility:
• Open to all ASEAN youth aged 15–35
• Individuals or teams, depending on category
• Must be available to present at SAREF 4.0 if selected
Categories:
• Policy Pitch – team category
• Infographic Design – individual category
• Video – individual category
Description:
AEYA aims to spotlight youth-driven innovations that support clean, sustainable, and inclusive energy development. Organised by the ASEAN Centre for Energy with support from Sarawak Energy, the competition provides a regional platform for young voices to contribute meaningfully to ASEAN’s energy goals.
