The GHHIN/EJN Extreme Heat Photo Contest 2025 invites photographers and visual storytellers around the world to capture the impacts of extreme heat—on people, places, and the planet. It’s your chance to raise awareness and influence action through the power of images.
Eligibility:
• Open to anyone aged 18 and above
• Global call—open to all nationalities
• Multiple entries allowed (one winner per person)
• Employees or contractors of the organisers are not eligible
Description:
This international online photo contest seeks original, high-resolution images in one of four categories:
• Human health impacts
• Infrastructure & economy effects
• Environment & animals under heat stress
• Community resilience strategies
Photos should be real, impactful, and ethically captured—with clear titles, dates, locations, and captions. AI-generated images are not accepted.
