Depict has been uncovering new filmmaking talent for over twenty years – showing incredible originality, fantastic imagination and a minute and a half of pure entertainment.
There are over 200 mini masterpieces for you to watch from the Depict short film competition.
Depict is an international contest that challenges you to create an original film that is no longer than 90 seconds. You can use any genre, style, or technique, as long as your film is creative, distinctive, and engaging. The competition is open to anyone from anywhere in the world, and you can submit as many films as you like for free.
The best films will be selected by a jury of industry experts and screened at the Encounters Film Festival in Bristol, UK, in September 2023. You will also have the chance to network with filmmakers, distributors, and funders at the festival. The winners will receive cash prizes, industry exposure, and career development opportunities.
