The ACU Early Career Conference Grants 2025 support early-career researchers at ACU member universities—including Universiti Brunei Darussalam—to share their work globally. This is a great chance to boost your academic profile and build international connections.
Eligibility:
Open to early-career researchers (up to 7 years post-PhD or equivalent). Applicants must be staff or students at an ACU member university. Bruneian researchers at Universiti Brunei Darussalam are eligible.
Description:
These grants fund participation in academic conferences held between 1 September and 31 December 2025. Applicants can choose any relevant conference—virtual or in-person—and must show how it will benefit their career and institution. The focus is on international engagement and showcasing research from ACU institutions.
Benefits:
Grants of up to GBP 2,000 for in-person conferences or GBP 1,000 for virtual events. Covers travel, accommodation, registration, and other costs. Recognition as an ACU grant recipient.
