Deadline: 7th august 2023 | The Bett Asia Awards celebrate and champion the EdTech trendsetters and innovators who are revolutionising education across the Asia-Pacific region. Applications have been received in the following categories and will be judged by the Bett Advisory Board.

The 21st Century Learning Award
The award for 21st Century Learning goes to the individual, group or organisation that is using EdTech effectively to develop the necessary skills to help students become independent and confident global citizens.

The Game Changer Award
The award for game changer goes to the individual, group or institution that continues to innovatively embed EdTech into their organisation that drives outcomes for students and staff alike.

The Trailblazer in Inclusion Award
This award goes to the outstanding individual that does trailblazing work in the field of EdTech and inclusion to ensure equitable learning outcomes for all students and staff.

The Wellbeing Award
The award for wellbeing goes to the individual, group or organisation that have used EdTech collaboratively to support and advance the development of student and teacher mental wellbeing and/or physical health.

The Disruptor Award
This award goes to the individual, group or organisation that continues to revolutionize traditional pedagogy and champions the accelerated use of technology to develop future-ready schools and students.

The Sustainability Initiative Award
This award goes to the individual, group, or organisation that has implemented an impactful initiative to champion sustainability and drive action for the environment.

The Pioneer Award
The award for leadership goes to the individual that continually raises the bar when using EdTech in their institution for the greater good of students and staff alike and demonstrates outside-the-box thinking and best practice.

Entries and Eligibility

  • All entries must be completed and submitted online by 7 August 2023 at 17:00 BST. Individuals or organisations can be entered in more than one category as long as the applications are tailored specifically to show evidence of their relevance to each.
  • The length of the submission is limited (see max word count on the entry form).
  • Each application must be completed in one session. Application progress cannot be saved.
  • As stated on the entry form, please supply a self-recorded 30s-1minute video that introduces yourself and briefly explains: what you or your institution/company have demonstrated impact within education in APAC region since 2022 to win a Bett Asia Award – feel free to be as creative as possible. If your entry is shortlisted, please note these videos may be posted on social media channels and used as marketing materials. They will also be collated with other shortlisted candidates.
  • Where the entry was a collaborative effort, all major contributors should be credited within the entry.

Judging

  • The awards will be judged in two stages. The first stage is the online application and entrants will be shortlisted on the basis of the strength of their submission form and supporting video. You will be contacted by Bett Asia to confirm if you have been shortlisted. Once the shortlists for each awards category is finalised, the judging panel will select a winner for each category.
  • The decision of the judges is final. The judges reserve the right to re-classify, re-categorise or reject any entry that does not comply with the requirements of the Bett Asia Awards.
  • Entries will only be judged on the basis of the information provided to the judges on the entry form and the additional supporting video submitted.
  • Judges are requested to declare an interest and remove themselves from the process if they are asked to judge an entry that poses a conflict of interest.
