Deadline: 18th Jan 2020 | Age 18-35 | Fully funded | Do you want to tackle the problems in our society with sustainability driven startups?
This fully funded Young Sustainable Impact (YSI) Innovation Programme focuses on shaping you into an innovator, and enables you to work in strong teams or individually to create lasting solutions to Southeast Asia’s pressing Energy, Food & Circular Economy problems.
You will discover educational resources, mentors, access to prototyping facilities, and a vibrant community of social entrepreneurs across Southeast Asia!
From March to July, you will work online in groups and do some researching alone to find opportunities inside your chosen goal and gather insights. You will use between 15-25 hours each week, and it’s because this is what, they believe, it takes to get through the programme and emerge with great, working solutions. Your team will chat, do online workshops, talk with people in their network (mentors, businesses and so on) and keep track and explore your chosen goal together.
You are also required to be in Singapore from 5th – 13th July. This would be the best chance for you to interact with the YSI SEA team, the rest of the batch, and relevant stakeholders that can help you push forward your impact start-up.
They are looking to support people who have the potential and the willingness to create tangible social impact. So if you’re applying in search of a founding team, fantastic! They specialize in forging strong regional teams and supporting them during their initial phases of running an impact company.
If you prefer to work on your idea alone, not to worry! Their curriculum and knowledge bank is designed to help you create a startup from scratch with or without a team.
