The Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Contest 2026 invites students to explore the theme “Your Story, Our Ocean” and reflect on how the ocean sustains, protects, and inspires us.

This is a global, online competition for young people who want to combine creativity with environmental awareness and action.

Eligibility:
• Open to students worldwide aged 11 to 18
• Applicants must be enrolled in middle school, high school, or homeschool equivalent
• Students who have started college or university are not eligible
• Entries can be submitted individually or as a group
• All participants need an adult sponsor, such as a teacher, parent, guardian, or mentor

Description:
Participants will create an original submission connected to the 2026 ocean theme. Entries can be submitted across categories including handcrafted visual art, digital visual art, poetry and spoken word, creative writing, film, music and dance, and interactive or multimedia work.

Submissions must be made online and should be created during the 2025–2026 academic year. AI-generated work is not allowed.
