The Global FinTech Hackcelerator supports early-stage startups developing market-ready solutions for challenges in the financial sector. Organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Global Finance & Technology Network, the programme connects founders with investors, industry leaders and potential corporate partners.
Eligibility:
• Open to early-stage fintech startups worldwide
• Startups must be bootstrapped, pre-seed, seed or Series A
• Applicants must be based in, operating in or planning to enter Southeast Asia
• Teams must have a market-ready solution addressing one of the programme’s problem statements
• Applicants must be open to external funding opportunities
• Teams should preferably have no more than 10 members
Description:
The 2026 challenge focuses on technology-driven solutions for financial services, including adaptive credit and fraud risk modelling, digital private banking and AI-powered insurance support for small and medium-sized businesses.
Up to 20 finalists will receive mentorship, workshops and investment-readiness support before presenting their solutions at the Singapore FinTech Festival, taking place from 18th to 20th November 2026.
Attendance in Singapore is compulsory for finalists during the in-person programme and Demo Day.

• A SGD 20,000 stipend to help cover travel and accommodation

• Mentorship from senior financial and corporate leaders

• Opportunity to pitch before investors, executives and regulators

The top three winners will each receive an additional SGD 80,000 cash prize.
