Women Rising for Climate Resilience is an online leadership development programme by Wedu for emerging women leaders across South and Southeast Asia. It supports participants in building the knowledge, confidence and connections needed to create climate solutions rooted in their communities.
Eligibility:
• Identify as a woman
• Be based in or connected to South or Southeast Asia
• Be an emerging leader committed to climate action or community resilience
• Have an interest in developing a practical climate solution
• Be able to participate in the eight-week online programme
Description:
Wedu will select 25 women for eight weeks of structured online learning. Participants will explore climate justice, systems thinking and practical leadership approaches designed for the realities of South and Southeast Asia.
Throughout the programme, participants will develop a Climate Solution Concept Note based on an environmental challenge affecting their community. The curriculum has been co-designed with women leaders and climate organisations from across the region.
