Deadline: 4th October 2023 | Ten years of inspiration, innovation, and impact. The journey has been incredible so far, but the adventure is far from over.
With the support of the U.S. Department of State and implemented by Biji-biji Initiative, Mereka, Pratisara Bumi Foundation, and Girls Can Lead, the Summit aims to elevate the alumni to strive as agents of change with a growth mindset, bringing greater impact to Southeast Asia as part of a unified YSEALI network.
The 4-day Summit in Bali brings alumni to interactive informational sessions, masterclasses, group exercises, project-based learning experiences, networking and community dialogues, site visits, and cultural activities.
More excitingly, up to 50 individual participants will be selected to get an average of USD 700 to assist in their professional development as a leader and, a total of 20 selected teams can win seed funding of USD 5,000 to implement their initiative in their community.
Program Dates
Participants must be able to commit to the 4-day in-person Summit in Bali, Indonesia, from December 3 – 8, 2023 (inclusive of traveling days). There will be pre-Summit activities that will be run virtually throughout November, and post-Summit activities between January – April 2024.
Applicant must:
- be YSEALI alumni. YSEALI alumni are those who have completed a YSEALI Regional Workshop, YSEALI Academic/Professional Fellows Program, YSEALI Seeds for the Future program, or YSEALI Academy.
- be between 18 and 35 years old (at the time of application.)
- be a citizen and resident of an ASEAN member country (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) or Timor-Leste.
- be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- have a passport with at least six months of validity remaining (minimum validity until June 8, 2024.)
