In conjunction with the National Youth Day Celebration 2019, the Youth Entrepreneurship Plenary 2019 will be held on 3rd August at 2pm to 6pm at ICC. Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in collaboration with Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei (YEAB) and Darussalam Enterprise (DARe), supported by the Startup Weekend, the forum pleno themed “Innovation Economy: Entrepreneurship in the Digital Era” aims to serve as a platform for discussion on entrepreneurship, innovation and the economy amongst the youth and entrepreneurs and will feature the following topics:
– The Bukalapak Story: Rising into a Unicorn
– Solution Driven Generation: Turning Challenges into Innovation
– Resilience in Business: Overcoming Challenges in the Digital Era
Discussions will be led by invited young entrepreneurs behind successful startups including Bukalapak (one of Indonesia’s largest e-commerce companies classified as a unicorn), PopCon (Malaysia’s creative community platform that brings together Malaysian brands, marketers and online content creators to engage in learning, idea-sharing and project collaborations) as well as local startups and businesses including Fueled.bn, MondeB2B, KadaiRuncit.com, Naindah.com, Syarikat Seri Pekatan, Wira Group of Companies, DotRoot, BruPay, among others.
