Overview
The Women of the South Speak Out (WOSSO) Fellowship is an 18-month programme (Aug 2024–Feb 2026) by ARROW, Gender Links & Mannion Daniels. It empowers young women (18–35) from the Global South—especially Asia‑Pacific—affiliated with women’s rights groups to amplify local advocacy on regional and global stages.

Eligibility:

  • Female advocates aged 18–35

  • Based in/including Asia‑Pacific, from the Global South

  • Affiliated with a women’s rights organisation or network

  • Leading an advocacy initiative they wish to elevate through mentorship and regional/global engagement

Description:
Accepted Fellows receive mentorship to develop and implement personalised advocacy plans. Over the initial 18 months (from Aug 2024), they’ll build regional linkages and may attend global conferences depending on project relevance.

Benefits:

  • Small grant disbursed in tranches aligned with advocacy milestones

  • Invitations to at least one regional advocacy event

  • Possible participation in global advocacy forums

  • Opportunities to contribute to WOSSO’s research projects
