The World Internet Conference Global Youth Leadership Program 2026 is looking for accomplished young professionals working across internet- and ICT-related fields.

Selected Global Youth Leaders will contribute to international conversations on technology, digital development and internet governance, with opportunities to attend the WIC Wuzhen Summit in China.

Eligibility:

• Under 45 years old
• Have notable accomplishments in an internet- or ICT-related field
• Demonstrate an international outlook and willingness to contribute to the WIC youth community
• Show strong communication, presentation and leadership skills

Applicants may come from technology, digital policy, research, entrepreneurship, academia, public-interest initiatives or related fields.

Description:

The Global Youth Leadership Program is a flagship initiative of the World Internet Conference that connects emerging leaders working across internet technology, industry and governance.

Selected participants may join forums, training sessions and research activities. They may also be invited to speak at the Youth Forum during the 2026 WIC Wuzhen Summit, which is tentatively scheduled for early November.

Applicants must submit a recommendation letter, supporting evidence of their achievements and an introduction video sharing their views on the programme and proposed activities or projects. A written transcript of the video is also required.
