Deadline: 21st March 2020 | Age 22-35 | Join this YSEALI regional workshop within the fields of anti-human trafficking, anti-wildlife trafficking, and environmental conservation.
80 participants representing different NGOs and relevant organisations from ASEAN and Timor Leste, will be selected to gain a network of digital tools, skills, expertise and resources.
To be held on June 22-26 at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Organisations working in isolation will be introduced to a greater network of individuals tackling similar issues and draw from their efforts and experience to enhance and diversify solutions.
To qualify as a YSEALI Regional Workshop participant, you should:
Be a member of YSEALI. If you are not already a member, you can apply here.
Be residing in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, or Timor-Leste.
Be a citizen of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, or Timor-Leste.
Be between 22 and 35 years of age at the time of the Workshop, June 22, 2020.
Have at least one year of experience working in communications particularly on Anti-Human Trafficking, Anti-Wildlife Trafficking or Environmental Conservation; (two – three years experience is ideal)
Be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English (TOEFL exam results not required).
Be able to participate in all 5 days of the Workshop (June 22-26, 2020); If you are coming from a smaller airport, you will need to plan for additional travel days before and after the above dates. You will be required to arrange your own travel visa to Malaysia.
