The Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards 2026 is a free international photography and video competition celebrating the lighter, funnier side of the natural world.
It is open to photographers of all levels who have captured wild animals in genuinely funny, unexpected, or character-filled moments.
Eligibility:

• Open to all skill levels, from beginners to professionals
• Entries can be taken using any camera brand
• Images must feature wild animals only
• Pets, domestic animals, farm animals, and captive animals are not eligible
Description:
The competition invites photographers to submit humorous wildlife photos and videos across different categories, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, fish, aquatic species, young photographer categories, portfolio, and video.
The awards aim to celebrate wildlife through humour while raising awareness about conservation. Shortlisted entries are expected to be announced in October, with winners announced later in the year.
