The Grohwie Design Fellowship 2026 is an online programme designed for emerging digital designers who want to grow beyond technical skills and learn the business side of creative work. Over eight weeks, fellows gain practical insights on pricing, pitching their work, finding clients, and building a strong design career.
It’s a small, focused cohort that combines live sessions, mentorship, and a collaborative design project—helping designers build confidence, community, and a stronger professional portfolio.
Eligibility:
• Open to digital designers (illustration, branding, video, UI/UX, posters, apps, etc.)
• Typically 1–3 years of design experience
• Applicants can be based anywhere in the world
• Suitable for designers who know the technical basics but want help with career growth and business skills
Description:
The fellowship runs for 8 weeks online with weekly live sessions and a final collaborative design project. The first half focuses on learning key career skills such as pricing work, communicating value to clients, and finding freelance or job opportunities. The second half involves a team design challenge where fellows research, create, and present a project for their portfolio.
