This program identifies talented young professionals from member countries to contribute to work in the World Bank, IFC, and MIGA. Participants work on meaningful development issues and get leadership and technical training.

Eligibility:

  • Must be from a World Bank Group member country

  • Master’s degree completed (or equivalent), or finished doctoral-level work (if applicable), by 1st September 2026

  • 2 to 6 years of professional work experience

  • Fluent in English

  • Must not already be a staff member or hold certain types of contracts at the Bank

Description:

  • Two-year term with the possibility of a five-year renewable contract (based on performance)

  • Participants join either operations or specialized function tracks

  • Part of a structured learning journey, including training, coaching, mentoring, leadership development, and exposure to senior leadership and strategy work
