Overview

The Global Career Accelerator is a development-focused initiative for emerging professionals in factual media—spanning science, history, wildlife, digital, social media, gaming, and multimedia genres. It’s designed to support first-time attendees of WCSFP, offering a launchpad into the international factual production community.

Eligibility

  • Open to emerging producers, content creators, or digital storytellers working in factual genres.

  • Must be a first-time attendee of the World Congress of Science & Factual Producers.

  • Roles may include: producer, executive producer, associate/assistant producer, or creators in social media, gaming, or digital platforms.

  • Priority given to applicants from underrepresented regions and those with no prior access to major global industry events.

Description

Participants will be immersed in a supportive environment tailored to building their careers in factual storytelling. The program includes mentorship, access to high-level networking, and guided exposure to the WCSFP Congress. Successful applicants will have the chance to present themselves, engage in one-on-one meetings with decision-makers, and attend curated sessions to enhance their skills and visibility.
