The WISE Prize for Education 2026–2027 is a global award programme for organisations working on impactful education solutions.
It supports promising innovations with funding, mentorship, and a structured development programme to help them grow and reach more learners.
Eligibility:
• Open to organisations anywhere in the world
• Individuals are not eligible to apply
• Eligible organisations include schools, universities, civil society groups, government agencies, international organisations, private-sector companies, and non-profits
• Applications should address measurable improvements in learning and/or life outcomes
Description:
The WISE Prize is designed for education innovations that are ready to grow. Finalists will join a 12-month development programme where they receive funding, expert mentorship, coaching, and support to develop their solution further.
Applications should focus on at least one priority area, such as reaching underserved learners, using AI responsibly in education, strengthening foundational skills, supporting learner wellbeing, or placing culture and language at the centre of learning.
Benefits:
• Finalists receive USD 100,000–125,000 to develop their solution
• Access to tailored mentorship, coaching, and hands-on support
• Opportunity to present at the WISE 13 Summit
• Top three winners will share a USD 1,000,000 prize pool
