The ASEAN-Japan Youth Forum 2025: Take Actions for Social Change (TASC) invites passionate undergraduate students to join a transformative experience focused on addressing plastic waste. This programme connects young leaders from ASEAN countries and Japan to co-create sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.
Eligibility:

Full-time undergraduate students at AUN Core Member Universities (e.g., Universiti Brunei Darussalam).

Citizens of ASEAN member countries.

Not have lived abroad for more than one year after age 12.

Not planning to study, intern, or work abroad during the programme period.

Physically and mentally healthy.

Active interest in social or environmental issues.

Proficient in English.

Able to fully commit to the programme’s online and travel components.
Description: Running from August to December 2025, the TASC programme combines online seminars with field visits to the Philippines and Japan. Participants will work together to create action plans tackling plastic waste, engage with local communities, and present their initiatives during the final stages of the forum.
