The Brunei and Social Impact Convention (BASIC) is a two-day convention which connects people with social enterprises, non-government organisations (NGOs) and companies that have corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives with the incentives to build an economy and community that is equitable and fair for all.
The convention is supported by Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry and is scheduled to be held on October 22-23 at the KIGS. Participants will have the opportunities to get updated information on social enterprise, NGOs and CSR initiatives, while establishing network and interact with invited speakers.
The motto for BASIC 2019 – I.M.P.A.C.T (Innovation, Meaning, Partnership, Action, Community and Triumph), is a call to participants in Brunei and Southeast Asia for the empowerment of communities and innovation for a better change to the world.
