Overview
The Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) Ocean Leaders Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded, year-long leadership programme for young ocean and climate changemakers aged 18–35. It equips early-career professionals with skills, networks, and experience to lead high-impact conservation and climate action locally and globally.

Eligibility:
• Aged 18–35 as of 20 June 2026
• Actively involved in ocean conservation, climate action, or related sustainability work
• Strong interest in advancing the 30×30 ocean protection goal
• Aligned with one of SOA’s Ocean Impact Areas (e.g. ecosystem restoration, blue foods, pollution, ocean data)
• Proficient in English (C1 level)
• Available for international travel from 9–19 June 2026
• Must not have previously attended the Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit or UN Ocean Conference Youth Forum

Description:
Running from March to December 2026, the fellowship includes weekly online sessions (approx. 5 hours/week) and an in-person leadership institute in June. Fellows will take part in workshops, mentorship, peer learning, and real-world projects focused on policy, campaigning, and community impact.
