Scholarships available:

Social Sciences and International Studies

How many? Up to two available
What does it cover? Full tuition fees and the equivalent of a UKRI stipend for three years
The College of Social Sciences and International Studies (SSIS) is offering a Postgraduate Research Global Excellence Scholarship for an International applicant starting their postgraduate research degree in September 2020. The scholarship is available for full time students only.
Please note: for successful applicants, the SSIS Global Excellence Scholarship funding will be recurrent for 3 years.
The Scholarship is available in the following subject areas within the College of Social Science and International Studies at the University of Exeter:

– Arab and Islamic Studies
– Education
– Law
– Politics
– Sociology, Philosophy and Anthropology

Humanities:

How many? One studentship
What do they cover? Full tuition fees and an annual maintenance grant for three years
The University of Exeter’s College of Humanities is offering up to two PhD Global Excellence studentships (open to International students only) for candidates aiming to start in September 2020.

Life and environmental sciences

What is available? Three x 50% tuition fee scholarships
Duration 3 years
The College of Life and Environmental Sciences is offering a number of PhD Global Excellence Scholarships available for International applicants starting their postgraduate research degree in September 2020. The scholarships are available for full-time students only.
For partial tuition fee scholarships, a maximum of 50% discount is available on International tuition fees. Where a discount on tuition fees has already been agreed with the University of Exeter via a government sponsor or other funding scheme agreement for 2020 entry, an additional Global Excellence Scholarship will be applied up to a maximum of 50% discount in total.
Scholarships are available in the following subject areas within the College of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Exeter, and at all campuses:

– Biosciences
– Geography
– Psychology
– Sport and Health Sciences

Engineering, mathematics and Physical Sciences

What is available? Five x 25% tuition fee reduction scholarships
Duration 3.0 years
The College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences is offering a number of Postgraduate Research Global Excellence Scholarships available for International applicants starting their postgraduate research degree in September 2020. The scholarships are available for full-time students only.
For partial tuition fee scholarships, a maximum of 25% discount is available on International tuition fees. Where a discount on tuition fees has already been agreed with the University of Exeter via a government sponsor or other funding scheme agreement for 2020 entry, an additional Global Excellence Scholarship will be applied up to a maximum of 25% discount in total.
